Forestry

The oil is usually referred to as “the black gold”, gas as “the blue gold” and the forest can undoubtedly be referred to as “the green gold” of Russia. The forest gives the mankind the universal raw material - wood which is used in all the industries. Traditionally it has been used in construction, paper production and in everyday life it can be found to be used by households as a production tool or fuel. Today 1/3 of all wood is used as fuel.
